House-warmed

After this past weekend, you can consider our home, warmed. We had our friends over on Friday to celebrate with us and I made a family favourite. Spinach and onion sour cream dip in a bread bowl. I may have squeeze-dried the spinach a bit too much so if you’re going to make it, get the main amount of water out of the spinach but don’t dry them too much!!

Then, on Sunday we invited all of our neighbours over for coffee and cake. In Swabian tradition, I baked a cake called a Gugelhupf as well as some cupcakes. It was delicious and everyone said they liked it too. So glad to have friendly, funny neighbours!

So we are officially settled into our home and loving it!

Oh, also we got some snow!
